Phillip A. Nye, MD, FASA

Founder of Anesthesia and Sleep Medicine Services of Florida, Board Certified Sleep Medicine Specialist

Dr. Phillip Nye received his fellowship training in sleep medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is trained to diagnose and treat all sleep disorders in both adults and children. In addition to practicing sleep medicine, Dr. Nye is also a highly experienced board certified anesthesiologist. He has been a practicing medicine along the Treasure coast since 2006. Dr. Nye is currently affiliated and credentialed as a sleep medicine specialist with Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

He was recently recognized as a Fellow with the American Society of Anesthesiologists (FASA). This is a prestigious honor in the specialty as it indicates a superior level of service, leadership, advocacy and education that distinguish Fellows from their peers. A long time resident of Vero Beach, Florida. “I was amazed at the natural beauty along the Treasure Coast. Dr. Nye currently serves on advisory committees for both the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Society of Anesthesia and Sleep Medicine. He is also an active member of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. His interests include: patient safety legislation and advocacy for the specialty of anesthesia and sleep medicine.
